Aim High Stem Event 2024
In Spring 2024, Computing and Design Technology leads from across the Trust, planned and facilitated a Stem event based around the theme of Ice Creams. Small groups of children, from the three schools in the Academy Trust used their design and technology skills to plan and construct an ice-cream van from a range of materials. In addition, a further group of children used their coding skills to create, test and debug an algorithm using Crumble controllers to enable their group’s ice-cream van to travel between the three schools to deliver ice creams in the quickest time.
